Hey everyone,

There's no easy way to write this, so I'll just say it. APGAMING.GG is shutting down. Everything goes offline for good on August 10th, 2026.

This community goes back further than the AP Gaming name. We started in 2017 as RustMania, founded by Amino. I took over in 2023, while we were still RustMania, and through that merge we brought together an amazing group of people dedicated to making this place as great as it once was. Nine years of wipes, base builds, clan drama, 3am tickets, and people from all over the world who ended up friends because of some Rust servers.

When Rust started dying down we became AP Gaming, hoping to branch out into other games our community might want. It never took off the way we hoped. The population stayed too low, the support ran out, and the honest truth is we no longer have the funds to keep the servers running. I'd rather tell you that straight than dress it up.

To our players: thank you. Every one of you who built here, fought here, got raided and logged back in the next day anyway. You didn't just play on these servers. You're what made them worth running.

To our admins and staff, past and present: thank you doesn't cover it. You gave up nights, weekends, and wipe days to keep this place running and fair. And to the ones who fought so hard to keep us alive at the end, I saw all of it. You have nothing to be ashamed of. Some things just run their course.

The servers are winding down now, and everything goes dark for good on August 10th. The store is closed. The Discord is staying open for now, and it would mean a lot to see some familiar names in there before the lights go out.

Nine years is one hell of a run. From RustMania to AP Gaming, thank you for every single one of them.
